Similar to the Mill's Bomb of British design (No. 36), this modern West German grenade is an offensive grenade. A neat feature of this grenade is the ability to slip on a 'fragmentation sleeve' of hollow plastic filled with 3800 pellets, and then the grenade becomes a 'defensive' grenade.
